Our Flores de Muertos Papel Picado Earrings are made with "cempasuchitl" resin flowers. The word comes from the Nahuatl (the language of the Aztecs) word zempoalxochitl which means twenty-flower: zempoal, meaning "twenty" and xochitl, "flower."
Our Papel Picado design was made in 2000, and we re-designed it in Acrylic & wire-wrapped orangish crystals.
